University of Helsinki and Atmosphere and Climate Competence Center (ACCC) will have an honor to host professor Ottmar Edenhofer, Director and Chief Economist of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Chair, The European Scientific Advisory Board on Climate Change on January 17th, 2024 in Tiedekulma, Helsinki at 17.00-19.00.
Mr. Ottmar Edenhofer, will give a presentation on “Scientific advice for the determination of an EU-wide 2040 climate target and a greenhouse gas budget for 2030–2050. After the presentation we will have a panel discussion on “ How to accelerate climate actions via focused basic research, green financing and climate policies that encourage new investments? “.
