The presentation is about the basic concepts of insurance business. We discuss the essence of insurance business, e.g. what is the business model and how it is applied. Examples of different insurance risks are presented noting, that not all risks are insurable. Finally, the channels of influence – for example to the prevention of global warming – are introduced.
